So yeah, I just finished reading House of Many Ways by Diane Wynne Jones. GREAT BOOk, highly reccomend to any fantasy freaks. Anyways, I wanted to draw a pic of Charmain, a little more grown up (I tried drawing her as her age in the book...didn't turn out well, I suck at drawing kids) and it also gave me an excuse to fiddle around in my new Photoshop Elements program. This is the result. I'm still figuring out some tricks so if anyone has any tips for how to improve the coloring let me know!
Legal jargon: Charmain Baker belongs to Diane Wynne Jones, I'm just admiring her characters. The two brushes used in here were not made by me but from the wonderful ImagineFX mag and Photoshop Creative mag on their free brushes CD. Both great mags, go check them out! |
